In the simplest of terms, a floor plan is a diagram depicting a bird’s eye view (above) of a space, which usually includes dimensions. Floor plans show the relationship between rooms, spaces, and other physical features at one level of a structure. While furniture details are not typically affixed to the space, you can include them to make your diagram as detailed as possible.
