Product Designer (Freelance)

Spoak is looking for an experienced Product Designer to help us build the future of the interior design industry. You’d be joining a small-but-powerful team as we grow our powerful suite of interior design tools across responsive web and iOS.

The ideal candidate is experienced in both UX and UI design, comfortable across iOS and web, and is excited to empower design-loving creatives everywhere. This role is remote and could be either part or full time (min 20 hours/week).

As a Product Designer at Spoak, you will:

Own the entire design process for the project/feature set, including:

Research
Wireframes
Visual design
QA and pixel pushing

Collaborate with our Product Design Lead on a shared design system
Collaborate with your delivery team (Product Management + Engineering) to ship early and often
Be responsible for analyzing and optimizing usability of your owned features post-launch

The ideal candidate:

Has proven track record designing across both responsive web and iOS (with case studies to share)
Is excited about the idea of joining a small but mighty tech organization
Is highly strategic, deeply empathetic, loves both UX and UI
Will work US East Coast hours
Is excited to build an incredible business from the ground up with a passionate, highly motivated team
A passion for interior design and/or experience building design tools is not required but a big plus!

Salary range:

$100-160K (highly dependent on experience/seniority)
