Not to one-up decorative lighting or anything (because it’s wonderful), but architectural lighting takes things up a notch in design. Architectural lighting draws focus to specific elements in a design. Some examples of architectural lighting are integrated lights, built-in lighting, cove lighting, etc. At the heart of it, it’s the intersection of design, art (architecture), and technology (lighting).
