What's new at Spoak

You can now rotate any object (furniture, decor, accessories) in your design with the new “Change Angle” control.  

• Select an object on your canvas → click Magic Edit → choose Change Angle → pick the desired angle → click Apply Magic Edit.  
• Great for adjusting furniture orientation, changing views, or getting the perfect layout angle — without manual skewing or approximate edits.  
• Works with all product types (furniture, decor, rugs, etc.).

You can now change the material, finish, or texture of any object in your design with the new Magic Finish tool.

Select an object on your canvas → click Finish & Fabric → choose → pick the finish, material, or texture you want to update → click Apply Magic Edit.
Perfect for testing alternate fabric options, wood tones, metals, paints, and more — without sourcing multiple product images or relying on approximate color overlays.
Works on all product types (furniture, décor, lighting, rugs, and more).

You can now transform the background image of your Vizis using the new Magic Background Edit tool.

Quickly clear clutter, swap surfaces, or make targeted background adjustments with Spoak's Magic Edit controls — no manual masking required. Ideal for cleaning up room photos, testing new finishes, or creating polished design visuals in seconds.

We’ve enhanced how we process images when you add them to your Vizis . This update reduces the number of times the system fails to read an image correctly, meaning fewer upload errors, smoother workflows, and a more seamless editing experience.

• New share button and panel on Color Pal view/edit pages, making it easier to share palettes.
• Page titles now display {Palette Name} by {Designer Name} | Spoak

We added icons to all file menus in Vizi, Color Pal, and the main navigation (New, Open, Account) for quicker scanning and a cleaner, more consistent look.

• Creating a new Vizi from homepage “create” cards now pre-filters/pre-selects the right design type.
• Removed the chat interface for a cleaner workflow.
• Added Blank and Import Image options at the top of the starter choices.
• Custom Plan now uses Floor Plan vs. Elevation (replacing Birds-Eye vs. Head-On).
• Import Image now lets you reuse a previously imported background.
• Import Image also includes a background cropping step.
• Design type selection has moved into the side panel (no more modal).
• You can now crop, replace, or use a solid color for the background of room Vizis in the renamed Room & Background panel.

We’ve added new keyboard shortcuts in Viz to help you work faster across both Mac and Windows.

• ⌘ / Ctrl + P → Open the download modal
• ⌘ / Ctrl + A → Select all selectable objects on the canvas
• ⌘ / Ctrl + ⇧ + P → Toggle Magic Perspective on/off

These, along with many other shortcuts we’ve added recently, now appear in the Keyboard Shortcuts modal in the File menu for quick reference in Viz.

You can now download all products from a Vizi as a spreadsheet, making it easier to review, share, or organize your product list outside of Spoak.

Open your Vizi → click This Design in the left toolbar → click the download icon → your spreadsheet will download automatically.

We’ve launched a new homepage experience for designers on enterprise teams.

• Designs and Projects now have their own clear sections on the Home Page for easier navigation.
• The For You Page is hidden for enterprise designers to keep the focus on team work and active projects.
